Privacy Policy

Last updated: 08.10.2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy along with our terms and conditions and cookie policy explain what information we collect when you visit our site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), along with any provincial rules that apply, such as Quebec’s Law 25.

Who We Are

We’re an independent casino review and information website for Canadian players. See here how we review the casino sites. We don’t run any casino, and we never ask for your banking or card details. If you have questions about this policy, you can reach us at contact@vip-casinos-canada.com.

Information We Collect

We keep the information we collect to a minimum. It falls into two groups.

Information you give us. If you sign up for our newsletter, fill in a contact form or email us, we collect what you share, such as your name and email address, plus the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our site, we and our partners may collect basic technical data. This can include your IP address, browser type, device, general location (like your province), pages you visit, time spent on the site and the website that referred you.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Run, maintain and improve our website
  • Reply to your questions and messages
  • Send our newsletter, if you’ve signed up
  • Understand which pages and guides are most helpful
  • Track referrals to our casino partners so we can earn affiliate commissions
  • Keep the site secure and prevent misuse
  • Meet our legal obligations

We never sell your personal information.

Cookies and Tracking

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tools. These are small files stored on your device that help the site work and help us understand how it’s used. We use:

  • Essential cookies that keep the site running properly
  • Analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, that show us how visitors use our pages
  • Affiliate cookies that let casinos know you came from our site, so we can be credited if you sign up

You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, or through our cookie banner where available. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Affiliate Links and Casino Partners

When you click a link to a casino, you leave our site. The casino may then collect your information under its own privacy policy. We don’t control how casinos handle your data, so please read their policies before you sign up.

Casinos may share limited, non-identifying data with us, like whether a referral led to a new account, so we can be paid our commission.

Sharing Your Information

We only share information when we need to, and only with:

  • Trusted service providers who help us run the site, such as hosting, analytics and email tools
  • Affiliate networks and casino partners, for referral tracking
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and users

Some of these providers may store data outside Canada, such as in the United States. When that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of that country, and we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, or as long as the law requires. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we’ll stop emailing you and remove or anonymize your details within a reasonable time.

Keeping Your Information Safe

We use reasonable security measures, like secure (HTTPS) connections and limited access to data, to protect your information. That said, no website or online service can promise complete security, so please share personal details with care.

Your Privacy Rights

Under Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything that’s inaccurate
  • Withdraw your consent, for example by unsubscribing from emails
  • Ask us to delete your information, where the law allows

To make a request, email us at [contact email]. We’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your provincial privacy commissioner.

Age Restrictions

Our site is meant for adults of legal gambling age in their province: 19+ in most of Canada, and 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has shared information with us, please get in touch and we’ll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back now and then.
